ABOUT ME

how I like to take photos

Raised in Miami Beach, Florida, I grew up surrounded by beauty. From lush green mangroves to pastel sunsets to neon-lit Art Deco architecture, the natural and urban landscapes of my hometown have always excited and inspired me.

In high school, my passion for the environment led me to an environmental science project where I measured biomarkers in shark blood using laser spectroscopy, designing algorithms to understand the threats facing these apex predators. This experience intertwined my love for the natural world with my scientific curiosity, forging a connection between understanding nature and cherishing it.

Now, as a student at the University of Michigan, I balance my studies in computer science and biology with my passion for photography. You can learn more about my professional activities on my personal website and LinkedIn.

Through photography, I aim to share my perspective on the natural and artificial landscapes around us. I made this website to share that perspective widely, even if my audience is small, and my photos aren’t perfect!

Enjoy the photos,
